Weekly Wordcount

What is This?
Weekly Wordcount posts have two purposes:
- Personal accountability, to nurture a writing habit throughout the year
- Encouragement for others to do the same
My weekly wordcount goal is set to 2,000 words.
How Did I Do?
Specific wordcounts for me will be put on hold until HTRYN is complete. Talk about a time commitment!
- Choose installment written.
- Song of Binding – HTRYN work continues. We are on Lesson 8 now.
- Worldbuilding for Stained.
How Did YOU Do?
How is your writing coming along?

Has been a long time since I answered this accountability post, hasn’t it?
Last week I wrote the better part of Chapter 9 of Feather Path (around 2k words of it, roughly), which covers my weekly goal for last week. I am also doing some worldbuilding work on my world for NaNoWriMo2010, although less than I should, definitely.
Since this week I am starting HTRYN as well, my goals will have to adapt to the fact. Feather Path will not stop, but won’t be brought to the desired chapter per week either, until I am done with the course, at least. And then probably not either, because it will be time to revise Death’s Door for real.
Nevertheless… what matters is to keep working at becoming a better writer. And to this, I am dedicated. *smile* Let’s see if it works. *grins*

@Iris
Woot! At first, the work in HTRYN is going to seem like it NEVER ENDS.
I promise, it’s heavily front-loaded. 1B and 2B are soul-crushing, but you stop having to track through your manuscript quite as painstakingly after that. So you’ll be really really busy at first, but it’ll slow up soon enough. =]
You can join me with my every-other-week Choose posting schedule, with Feather Path, if you like! <3
